Small grade pieces (sold by the ounce) are roughly 2" or less across, good for nano or pico aquariums. A healthy handful is roughly 1 pound (16 ounces).
A classic hardscape rock resembling mountains, seiryu stone is great for creating an iwagumi or nature aquarium.
